where do you see yourself in five years

In a flat with plenty of windows. It can be small, as long as it has the windows. (I...I need the light. I need to see the sky.) It would be a flat I've been in for a while, so I'll have built up a decent library and have good furniture again. I'd like to be in a city, maybe a new one, with history, and art. And to have a park nearby. There doesn't have to be a park, but it would be nice. I like trees and grass more than I used to. I'd still be writing, maybe even published again. (I hear there's lots of options for that now.)

More than anything, I'd have peace and quiet. That's all I really want. If I can have--still have--just that in five years, it will be enough.

please describe an event that changed your life / shaped you as a person

There was this boy I met once. He was...amazing. Inspiring. But it didn't end well. It wasn't his fault, but--anyway. Recently we've found each other again. (Well, he found me.) It has...gone better than expected, but I'm--

Some. Nothing to be done about most of them, but the rest, I'm trying.

when you look into the sun and realize that the light from it is from a far away star hurtling through the cold vastness of space and compared to that you're an insignificant speck of dust to the cosmos much less greater powers that may have shaped our reality, how do you feel?

[slightly hysterical laughter]

Oh, yes. Of course. But I don't think the answers will help.

(OOC Ramble: Cecy's not exactly lying but he IS eliding a lot of details. Generally he's not going to tell ordinary people that his ex is Actual Facts Satan; most would not believe him, and those who would are the kind of people he wants to avoid. But concurrent with that is that he avoids thinking about unpleasant stuff. So his answer to the life-changing even is really stilted due to a combo of those things and cuts off right as it gets into the current status of things which is the most unpleasant part since it's still happening right now. He'd rather focus on enjoying the pleasures of the world and just being alive, hence his 5-year plan is just tons of details about his Dream Apartment and all the cool shit he's going to have in there.

The second to last question just gets hysterical laughter because being one of Lucifer's Things sucks, a lot, and Cecy has a lot of issues and complicated feelings about it, but it's not like he can actually say any of that.)
